Cardinal Crusade Situation Report

Through 3153 the defenders of New Avalon skirmished with the occupying Blakists. It seemed as though the Blakists were biding their time. However, charging into the Blakist forces would be pure suicide with the Swordships in orbit. However, after the meeting and creation of the Cameron Guild in December of 3153, the leaders were ready to go on the attack and the creation of the Cardinal Crusade took place.

Cameron Guild

The Cameron Guild is the recreation of the ancient House Cameron with the revelation of the DNA held by Pei-Ling Liao-Davion-Cameron has the genetic markers of the Camerons. As she is the daughter of Danai Liao the 1st MAC and Dynasty Guard are her personal units. However, multiple other leaders have flocked to join her as the first leader worthy of attempting to earn the mantle of First Lady in decades.

Great Houses

Some Great Houses have seen little in the way of Blakist incursions. Others have felt crushing blows and have called all their banners. The Federated Suns, Capellan Confederation, and Draconis Combine have been the primary incursion points for the Word of Blake invasion. Time will tell if they can hold back nearly 100 uninterrupted years of preparation by the Blakists.

The Clans are far removed from the main lines of the war against the Word of Blake. That has not kept them out of the fight though. Fleeing Snow Ravens have found refuge in the Federated Suns. The Smoke Jaguars and Nova Cats have returned through the aid of the Nomad Republic. The Galaxy Commander of Clan Ghost Bear's Alpha Galaxy was saved from assassination by a deep cover DMI/MIIO operation.
