House Cameron was the dynastic ruling family of the Terran Hegemony.
History
The Cameron family first rose to prominence in Scotland in 1505 when Ewen Cameron was enobled by King James IV of Scotland.[4][1]

Restoring the Cameron Line
Since the Throne Room Massacre, the Inner Sphere believed they had seen the end of the dynasty that led the original Star League. All that remains are monuments on various worlds and the museum that is now the Cameron Castle. But, deep within the classified facilities of the Great Houses and Clans remains the DNA coding and sequence of the Cameron bloodline.
As of January 3153 and the surprise announcement by Danai Liao of her daughter, Pei-Ling Liao-Davion-Cameron, the Cameron line appears to have been restored[6]. Initial speculation is of course that information has been fabricated. Something darker could also be going on such as human experimentation. Time will tell how this came to pass that both Davion and Cameron blood flows through Pei-Ling's veins and what Danai's reason for this is.
Bloodline Restored
Mere weeks after the announcement of the Cameron heir the office of the First Prince released a public announcement. In cooperation between the Federated Suns, Capellan Confederation, MIIO, Maskirovka, and Comstar, testing has concluded without a shadow of a doubt that Pei-Ling Liao-Davion-Cameron is in fact heir to House Cameron. [7]

The family estate just outside Glasgow on Terra III called Cameron Castle.[9]
