Pearl Dragon Mining Corporation was a Zhongshan-based corporation.
Overview
Pearl Dragon Mining Corporation was a long-standing Lyran corporation, at least until the coming of Clan Jade Falcon in the Dark Age. Following the Clan's attack, the company stock plummeted and its property was abandoned.[1]
With the abandonment of the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone in the early 3150s, Zhongshan became an independent world and was left to its own devices.[2] Pearl Dragon Mining reemerged to claim their former holdings, hiring security forces and mercenaries to claim valuable targets. The company's Chief Security Officer, Harry Wilson, was known to offer contracts against so-called "clan-sympathizers" who objected to their rebirth, the Great Eagle AgroWorks. A negotiation or dissolution of the union was expected to follow the destruction of several of the Union's processing plants.[1]
The workers' union who claimed Great Eagle's operations when the Jade Falcon touman abandoned the world also hired mercenaries to protect their worker's villages from pirate raids.[3]
