Tamiel was a member of the Word of Blake's Ascended Manei Domini and a Level III commander in the Forty-seventh Shadow Division during the Jihad Era.[1]
History
Poltergeist Precentor Sigma Tamiel's origins were unknown but he was reported personally leading his unit of the Forty-seventh Shadow Division on combat operations against Galatea's mercenary defenders in 3072. Tamiel was a proponent of the choir formation invented by Precentor Kona Jenkins and often worked alongside the Forty-seventh Division's battle armor troopers during the division's years-long anti-insurgency campaign on Galatea. These troopers included the Djinn under Adept Berit Smitty and the Nephilim commanded by Adept Joe "Crymo" Richmond.[1]

Poltergeist Precentor Sigma Tamiel piloted a customized Grigori Celestial OmniMech that he had equipped with twin Thunderbolt 10 launchers, a snub-nose PPC, and a Guardian Electronic Countermeasures Suite.[1]
