The '''First Albion Training Cadre''' is one of two cadet commands of the [[Albion Military Academy]].

== History ==
By and large the unit was able to stay out of the [[FedCom Civil War]]. Towards the end of the war, however, they provided a great deal of manpower for the Allied cause, eventually deposing Katherine Steiner-Davion. Though they sustained serious losses and smaller class sizes led to a smaller force, the High Command decided to fill the Cadre's open positions with soldiers from front line units.<ref>''Field Manual: Updates'', p. 136: "Unit Profile: First Albion Training Cadre"</ref> After the Civil War, they redeployed to [[Manapire]].<ref name=FM:Up137_141>''Field Manual: Updates'', pp. 137-141: "Deployment Table 3067: Armed Forces of the Federated Suns"</ref>

In [[3078]], Princess-Regent [[Yvonne Steiner-Davion]] signed the "Academy Appropriations War Powers Act". This act conscripted the First Albion Training Cadre into the [[AFFS]]. As a result, the First Cadre was disbanded in 3078 and integrated into the [[Davion Brigade of Guards]]. The future of the Cadre was still open in [[3079]]. The first new class of Albion students joined the reconstituted Training Cadre in [[3085]]. These students came together on [[New Hessen]] and began unpacking and assembling their equipment. These students are all members of the 3085 graduating class.
