The First Albion Training Cadre is one of two cadet commands of the Albion Military Academy.

History

By and large the unit was able to stay out of the FedCom Civil War. Towards the end of the war, however, they provided a great deal of manpower for the Allied cause, eventually deposing Katherine Steiner-Davion. Though they sustained serious losses and smaller class sizes led to a smaller force, the High Command decided to fill the Cadre's open positions with soldiers from front line units.[2] After the Civil War, they redeployed to Manapire.[3]

In 3078, Princess-Regent Yvonne Steiner-Davion signed the "Academy Appropriations War Powers Act". This act conscripted the First Albion Training Cadre into the AFFS. As a result, the First Cadre was disbanded in 3078 and integrated into the Davion Brigade of Guards. The future of the Cadre was still open in 3079. It was expected to follow the LCT structure if reconstituted.[4]

The first new class of Albion students joined the reconstituted Training Cadre in 3085. These students came together on New Hessen and began unpacking and assembling their equipment. These students are all members of the 3085 graduating class. This unit consists of two 'Mech companies, a reinforced battalion of battle armor, and a mixed regiment of armor.[5]

In 3145, the First Albion Training Cadre was stationed on Cerulean in the Draconis March together with the reconstituted Second Albion Training Cadre.[6]
