Xian Kang was the commanding officer of the First Liao Guards in 3146.[1]
History
In May 3146, Sang-shao Kang commanded the First Liao Guards during a raid against the Federated Suns world of Deneb Kaitos. Kang's BattleMechs were engaged in fighting with the Third Federated Suns Armored Cavalry when her Angel ECM suite detected the presence of the Draconis Combine's Fourth Dieron Regulars. Instead of communicating with her, the Regulars immediately opened fire on the Capellan Confederation's troops, defying Kang's expectation that they would cooperate in the fight against their common foe. Kang ordered her soldiers to open fire on the Regulars and exhausted the ammunition in her Mydron autocannon as the hostiles drew near but her other weapons soon proved insufficient in close-up fighting. Kang and her command company were destroyed, leading her surviving subordinates to flee aboard their DropShips and return to Fletcher with word of the Draconis Combine's willingness to eliminate Confederation forces.[1]
