Xavier Creed was an officer in the Eighth Syrtis Fusiliers during the Victoria War responsible for the Spaceport Massacre.[1]
History
Following the conquest of the Capellan world of Jacson by Federated Suns forces loyal to Duchess Amanda Hasek, Major Creed attempted to steal a large cache of germanium found stashed in the planetary spaceport. After resisting arrest, Creed lead a group of soliers-turned-mutineers in a fighting retreat to a group of nearby grounded DropShips. Having filled a Mule with prisoners for use as human shields, Creed's own Lung Wang was able to lift off with minimal interference. Just after successfully taking off, Creed's vessel shot down the Mule, leading to an explosion that wiped out several square kilometers of the spaceport and dealt more damage to the Eighth Fusiliers than the actual battle for the planet had. While Creed was ultimately able to escape into the Periphery, his actions lead to riots that stopped the Eighth Fusiliers from joining Hasek's second wave of attacks.[1]
