Commander Willihard Brandt was a MechWarrior, who served in the Hanseatic Defense Force's Command Company Schmidt's Petraries, as of 3140.[2]

Brandt had blond hair and blue eyes.[1]
History
A skilled MechWarrior, Brandt earned a role in the prestigious Schmidt's Petraries in the Spring of 3138, but almost became Dispossessed after his 'Mech was destroyed during an engagement. He was however lucky this occurred shortly before the new SUR-T1 Surtur BattleMech became available to the HDF in 3139, which he became one of the first to field test. His success with his new machine earned him command of the Petraries' Brandlanze (i.e. Incendiary Lance) by 3140, who under his leadership captured a score of enemy 'Mechs via profligate use of Flamers and Inferno SRMs.[2]
BattleMech
Brandt was known to have initially piloted a Wolverine. Following its destruction in 3139, he received a SUR-T1 Surtur BattleMech, as a replacement.[2]
