Overview
Virtual World Entertainment was a holovid production company. In 3056, Archon-Prince Victor Steiner-Davion used Virtual World to pass off civilian deaths on Lyons by Peter Steiner-Davion (an incident manufactured by the Free Skye movement) as promotional material for an upcoming action trivid in order to discredit claims it showed an actual atrocity. This duplicity was revealed in 3067 by Free Skye spokesman Roland Furst which also revealed the footage was had not been used in a holo production to date.[1][2]
Virtual World also had various franchises through the Inner Sphere, including at Solaris VII (closed by 3062), which presumably simulated BattleMech combat.[3]
