MechWarrior Turo Varela was a MechWarrior, who served in the Scorpion Empire's Hellion Keshik, as of 3140.[2]
History
The freeborn nephew of Jorge Varela, whose heroics during a raid on the Clan Goliath Scorpion colony world Holdout prior to the Hanseatic Crusade led to the Scorpion Khan to found his civilian name as a new Bloodname, Turo was allowed to join a Scorpion Sibko.
Becoming a Bloodnamed warrior of the Varela Bloodhouse later in his career, as few trueborn Sibkos had yet been created for the new Bloodhouse, Turo was an ambitious warrior. Serving in Baker Nova, within the Hellion Galaxy's Hellion Keshik as of 3140, Turo considered this merely a stepping stone to eventually becoming Khan. His attempts to ingrate himself with superiors however, resulted in his acquiring a reputation of being disingenuous, and untrustworthy.[1][2]
