The Dragons of Despair is a serialized novella in twelve parts by Kevin Killiany that was first published online on BattleCorps between 6 December 2005 and 15 February 2006. On 7 May 2007, it was made available for purchase in a single omnibus file.

The story continues the plot of Pirates of Penance and narrates the further tale of Lex Atreus.
