Purpose
This redirect category (rcat) template sorts redirects into one of two categories:
- Category:Redirects to guideline namespace – for pages in other namespaces being moved to the guideline namespace or
- Category:Redirects to guideline pages – for pages already in the information namespace and are redirects to other information pages
This rcat also populates the following:
- Category:Unprintworthy redirects – only redirects from main-article namespace (mainspace)
Usage
- Apply this rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT [[Guideline:(target page name)]]
{{R to guideline namespace}}- The template {{Rcat shell}} is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect.
