Usage

Template usage notes

The editor placing this template in an article should promptly begin a discussion on the article's talk page. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant, then this tag may be removed by any editor.

The purpose of this group of templates is to attract editors with different viewpoints to edit articles that need additional insight.
This template should only be applied to articles that are reasonably believed to misrepresent the views of reliable sources in the subject. The personal beliefs of editors are irrelevant.
Do not add this to a page more than a reasonable number of times.

Add {{POV statement}} after a statement or posit to signify that just that statement may not be entirely without bias.

Parameters

|1= (or an empty parameter): specifies the section on the talk page the "disputed" link points to.
|date=: the date that the tag was placed.

Thus:

{{POV statement|Objection|date=September 2026}}

produces

^{[neutrality is disputed]}, where "disputed" links to Talk:Article_name#Objection. Hovering over the link "neutrality" reveals the date that the tag was placed.
