Tanis Verbret was the commanding officer of the Hyades Light Infantry as of 3050.[1]
History
Subaltern Verbret, commanding the First Battalion of the Hyades Light Infantry, was stationed on Jamestown in 3025.[2] By 3050, Verbert had been promoted to colonel and commanded the Light Infantry's two battalions in a joint deployment to Jamestown and Masterson.[1] In 3058, Verbert retained command of the Light Infantry and had his two battalions located on Jamestown and Brinton.[3] Verbert continued to command the Light Infantry regiment in 3064, although having worked his way up to command from the rank of cornet while refusing to transfer out of the unit had caused him to lack any kind of home for himself outside of the Light Infantry. As a reward for his "self-sacrifice and dedication," he was awarded a Standard of Taurus.[4] In the same year, he had his newly-expanded three battalions stationed on the worlds of Amber Grove, Sterope, and Grossbach.[5]
