How can Corbett be sibkin with Lincoln Osis?

There is a passage in the Corbett article that sez "On Tukayyid it was Corbett that rallied the shattered Alpha Galaxy, rescued his sibkin Khan Lincoln Osis"

I was under the impression that the term "sibkin" is only used for two individual warriors who were trained in the same sibko, with understanding that "sibko" is not the same as the facility where sibkos are trained.

Article for Corbett sez that Corbett was born in 3024. Article for Osis sez that Osis was born in 3014.

How can two trueborn warriors separated by a decade in age be from the same sibko?
