The Tagan Medusa is a species of large predatory reptile found in the jungles of Taga. Ambush predators, medusas conceal themselves in the lower branches of jungle trees, camouflaged by moss on their squid-like bodies and by the vine-like appearance of their tentacles. If prey passes by, the medusa will grab and strangle it.[1]
By 3085, scientists suspected the Tagan medusa descended from an ocean-dwelling species, based in part on the creature's resemblance to a squid.[1]
