Corporal Sun Chang was a MechWarrior, who served in the Holt's Hilltoppers mercenary unit, from at least 3064 to 3068.[2][1][3]
History
A member of the mercenary Laurel's Legion, Chang and her lancemates became disaffected following their merger into the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces, hating the restrictions newly placed on their freedoms. Accordingly when two of their Legion Company's Lances were destroyed by the Hilltoppers on Arboris in December 3064, Chang as Lance CO decided to surrender and defect with her unit.
Together with her subordinates, including Nan Li, Chang therefore joined the Hilltoppers. The former legionnaires were not however assigned to a single Hilltopper lance, but rather broken up across the mercenary unit, in case their defection was part of an infiltration effort.[3][1]
As of 3068, Chang served as CO of Apache Lance, within the Holt's Hilltoppers' Chief Company.[2][1]

Chang was known to have piloted a Catapult BattleMech.[2][1]
