Stephen Riordan was a notable officer in the First Bolan Jaegers during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
During the fighting to reclaim Buena from the forces of Diego Widmer, Leftenant Riordan found himself facing an enemy Barghest in single combat outside of Fort Buena. Riordan quickly took severe damage from his foe's heavier armaments, losing both of his BattleMech's arms and half of its torso, but he refused to surrender. A shot from Riordan's ProtoMech AC/8 finally crippled the Barghest and the image of his 'Mech staggering back to the First Bolan's base, mauled but unyielding, became a major propaganda tool for the Lyran military and a reunifying force for the reclaimed worlds of the Buena Collective.[1]
BattleMech
Leftenant Stephen Riordan piloted a Sojourner OmniMech during the liberation of Buena.[1]
