Shujin Sten Lewis was a MechWarrior, who served in the Draconis Combine's Forty-fifth Dieron Regulars, as of 3079.[2]
History
Coming to the MechWarrior life not via an academy, but the Combine's Proving Grounds system for lower class aspirants to join the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, as of 3079 Lewis was the youngest member of the Forty-fifth Dieron Regulars' independent Nakayama's Blood Company under the command of Tai-sa Harold Nakayama.
A lover of Melee Weapons due to the limitations of his gunnery skills, he was assigned to the Blood's Meiyo Lance, as its leader Tai-i Dreb Muchiko wanted a melee specialist for her unit. While Lewis did not share the other members of the Blood's hatred of mercenaries, he willing took their oath against them, and was kept busy by Nakayama's heavy combat tempo.[2][1]
BattleMech
Lewis was known to have piloted a BL-9-KNT Black Knight BattleMech. This 'Mech was salvaged from the Word of Blake, and assigned to Lewis, due to its possession of a hatchet.[2][1]
