Stanford Meacham was a battalion commander in the Sixth Crucis Lancers during the late Succession Wars Era and Clan Invasion Era.[1]
History
Kommandant Meacham was promoted to battalion command after the incumbent officer was killed in a Capellan Confederation-aligned terrorist attack in 3033. After the Sixth Crucis Lancers were posted to the Lyran Commonwealth, Meacham's career began to stagnate and he strongly felt that the lack of "real opposition" faced by the Lancers was denying him opportunities for advancement. In combat, he would fight recklessly in order to gain the recognition necessary for promotion.[1]
BattleMechs
Kommandant Stanford Meacham piloted his family's -5T model Vulcan during the late Succession Wars. During the Clan Invasion, Meacham sent his 'Mech back to Tsamma for his son to pilot at the Albion Military Academy. He replaced it with a -5S model Vulcan.[1]
