The Sphere Intelligence Service (also known as the Republic Of The Sphere Intelligence Service)[1] was the Republic of the Sphere's civilian intelligence organisation responsible for data analysis, espionage and counter-intelligence.[2] At the fall of the Republic and start of the ilClan era, the SIS was disbanded and its' agents cut loose.[1]
During the Republic Era, the SIS was comprised of ten Prefectural Intelligence Offices.[2] It operated a local office on every planet within the Republic Of The Sphere.[2]
