The FSDS Richard III was the first Cargoking-class DropShip of only two built before the project was canceled (the other ship was lost to a fatal crash during testing).
The Richard III was in fact completed and authorized for operations a year prior to the official introduction of the class in 2790. It disappeared in 2825 in the Kesai system.[1]
