Renee Al-Lanna was the commanding officer of the Dragonslayers armored infantry squad of the Second Sword of Light's Seventy-first Mechanized Infantry during the Jihad.[1]
History
Chu-sa Al-Lanna and her elite squad of armored infantry were some of the few survivors of the Second Sword of Light's infantry contingent following the Black Dragon uprising on Luthien. Al-Lanna and her five surviving soldiers became adept at killing Black Dragon forces and were responsible for eliminating thirty-four enemy BattleMechs in guerrilla actions by 3070. The Dragonslayers took Tai-sa Li Sak To's betrayal personally and would go so far as to ignore Word of Blake forces in order to engage with Black Dragon troops. By the Jihad's third year, Al-Lanna's unit had occupied a ruined Luthien Armor Works facility and had begun stockpiling both supplies and refugees displaced by the fighting.[1]
