Plot Summary
At the J.A. Outpost on Anywhere, Erinyes test pilot Jarad lives through radical mood swings as the cocktails of drugs in his bloodstream are being fine-tuned. During the testing session, a Dragon with insignia Jarad doesn't recognize plus four battle armor suits approach the compound in what is presumably a raid, and Jarad moves the ProtoMech to engage. Despite various problems, Jarad—guided over the radio by scientist Degra—narrowly defeats the attackers
