Randall Cortina was a notable MechWarrior in the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
Sao-wei Cortina fought against the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns during the Capellan Confederation's 3145 invasion of Demeter. During the battle, Cortina annihilated a significant number of infantry and militia formations, set fire to several suburbs in order to sow chaos, and succeeded in destroying an AFFS battalion command post. By breaching the Federated Suns' defenses in this manner, Cortina severely delayed the arrival of enemy reinforcements and contributed directly to the Confederation's eventual victory in the battle. Unfortunately for Cortina, he was killed when three squads of fire-resistant Salamander battle armor troopers scaled his BattleMech and took revenge against him while he was trapped in his cockpit.[1]
BattleMech
Sao-wei Randall Cortina piloted a Calliope BattleMech during the conquest of Demeter.[1]
