Ramanathan "Ram" Subramanian was a notable MechWarrior in the Colonial Marshals during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
Marshal Subramanian's father was also a member of the Colonial Marshals and was responsible for saving the life of Governor George Holt of Portland from assassins near the start of the 32nd Century. In return, Subramanian's father requested that Holt provide for his son and the Governor upheld that promise in 3120 by providing the newly-graduated Marshalry Academy cadet with a fresh BattleMech. While his machine's uniqueness often lead to logistical difficulties, Subramanian loved piloting it as he entered into service with the Colonial Marshals. When a pirate raid in 3150 disabled his machine's supercharger, Subramanian ravaged the enemy lance and continued to patrol Portland while awaiting replacement parts—albeit at a much slower pace than he liked.[1]
