History
Force Commander Patel, serving with the Fourth Fusiliers of Oriente, was stationed on Oriente in 3059.[1] Formerly a member of the Dark Shadows, SAFE's elite BattleMech force, many Fourth Fusiliers officers believed he was posted to the unit in order to observe both Colonel Charleen Day and any remaining anti-Marik sentiment the troops may have had.[1]
