Qarab were a species of quadruped ungulate native to Tukayyid, found in the scrublands and tundra of the northern plateau of the Tamo Mountains. Wild qarab were herd animals, often found in herds several hundred strong. Settlers tamed and herded qarab, using them as mounts and pack animals to traverse the Dinju and Tamo mountain ranges.[1]
