Preston Mitchell was a notable member of ComStar's First Army during the Jihad.[1]
History
Demi-Precentor Epsilon XI Mitchell hailed from a long line of military servicepeople, with the first recorded Mitchell to serve dying in 1916 alongside the Royal Newfoundland Regiment during the Battle of the Somme. When the Word of Blake captured Mitchell's homeworld of Terra in 3057, he was stationed off-world in the Draconis Combine. During the liberation of Hesperus from the Word of Blake in 3074, Mitchell's long-range missile fire successfully smashed several Blakist counterattacks before they could materialize. In 3078, Mitchell returned to Terra as part of Devlin Stone's Coalition, where he helped liberate Singapore from the cockpit of his BattleMech.[1]
