Phoenix Marik-Steiner was a MechWarrior with the Second Marik Militia as of 3039.[2][3]
History
Staff Sergeant Marik-Steiner was reputed to be a teller of tall tales, including that he was the child of a tryst between Janos Marik and Katrina Steiner, that he had fought an hour-long battle with a Stinger which helped save the world of Hassad and that he had survived a bout of Miaplacidus Plague. His unit would have been happy to be rid of his stories, but he was a good scout, and they needed every good pilot they could find.[2][3]
Marik-Steiner became known for his mental instabilities but mysteriously continued to pass his psychological evaluations. It was also said that the only thing he was better at than lying was finding hidden things.[1]
