Pelipa Zenochka was a notable MechWarrior in the Second Liao Guards during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
Sao-wei Zenochka was serving with the Second Liao Guards when they invaded the Republic of the Sphere world of Hall in 3149. The appearance of Zenochka's brand-new Capellan Confederation-produced BattleMech was intended to signal to the Republic the serious intent of the Capellan invasion, but the apparent absence of Hall's Hastati Sentinels garrison caught Zenochka's commanders off guard. Convinced that the Republic Armed Forces had troops waiting in ambush in the environs surrounding the Choros city spaceport, Zenochka was one of several scouts her commanders tasked with reconnoitering the wilderness. After a week of fruitless searching, Zenochka was the first to discover the Hastati's presence after she chanced upon a lance of enemy armor. Alone in a close-quarters battle against elite Republic tankers, Zenochka managed to disable two Jousts before disengaging and calling in an artillery barrage that left wildfires burning for the next month.[1]
