History
Lieutenant Akiak joined the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns shortly before the Blackout. While garrisoning worlds deep inside the Federated Suns' borders, Akiak saw no action but proved a steady and reliable patroller. Akiak did not garner even a single infraction or demerit in over twenty years of service, retiring with honors and a comfortable landhold. A year later, Akiak abruptly left her home and signed up with a mercenary unit on the Combine front.[1]
