The nayaraptor was a species of flying reptile native to Deneb Algedi, nicknamed the 'sky shark' by the locals. Large, aggressive, and territorial nocturnal predators, nayaraptors very quickly proved a threat to the planet's first colonists. Sharp claws, sharp teeth, spiked tails, and enough strength to lift prey weighing up to 90 kilograms made for deadly company at first. Over time, as settlements developed, nayaraptors became an attraction: the core of a sport hunting tourism industry, with several hunting ranges marked out on the Ombanwe continent.[1][2]
Nayaraptors were native to Deneb Algedi's Kafa Island, and commonly ate the local Kafa gold tuna.[1]
