Mita Kinjo was a notable VTOL pilot in the First Arkab Legion during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
Gunsho Kinjo was the only woman to fly a Kamakiri VTOL in the First Arkab Legion and was forced to deal with both the Draconis Combine's traditional prejudice against women as well as the harsh cultural norms of the Azami. Kinjo definitively proved her skills during the fighting against the Republic of the Sphere on Ashio when she flew her aircraft at extreme speeds at low altitude in order to flank Knight of the Republic Erin McCann. McCann was occupying a hardened position atop a hill and was using the long-range weapons of her Rifleman with devastating effectiveness while holding two full lances of Arkab warriors at bay. Kinjo's dangerous evasive maneuvers put her in position behind McCann's BattleMech and she ripped the enemy soldier's machine apart, earning her the respect of her fellow Arkabs.[1]
