Matani's 'Mechs was a BattleMech customization firm on Solaris VII.
Overview
Matani's 'Mechs was the brainchild of Matani, a refugee from the Free Rasalhague Republic. Based in an abandoned centuries-old factory in Xolara, the company started with only a handful of C-bills. The Hangmen Cooperative contracted them to modify some of their 'Mechs. From scavenged parts they modified three 'Mechs that became top contenders. Hangmen's string of victories attracted several of the minor stables and cooperatives to Matani's, and the firm had steadily grown since then.[1]
Matani's advertised his small stockpile of Clan spare parts, mostly heat sinks and pulse lasers, which also warranted a security detail to defend his workshop. Three robbery attempts aimed against those items had been fended off, each ending with a loss of life.[1]
