Lockheed Galactic was one of the earliest producers of JumpShips equipped with Docking Collars and Kearny-Fuchida Drive Booms.[1]
Overview
Recognizing the dramatic game-changing nature of the technological advances made by its competitor Blue Nose Interstellar Technologies 2548,[2] Lockheed Galactic readily embraced the new JumpShip/DropShip paradigm, paying Blue Nose a premium to manufacture Docking Collars and K-F Booms for its own ships ahead of many of it competitors. Profits earned from its signature ship, the Leviathan-class, and other sales allowed Lockheed Galactic to expand its industrial empire to well over a dozen systems.[1]
