Lincoln Dinour was a Bloodnamed warrior and the commanding officer of Clan Goliath Scorpion's Delta Galaxy as of 3061.[2]

History

Galaxy Commander Lincoln, directly commanding the Seventeenth Scorpion Cuirassiers, was stationed on Dagda in 3061.[3] In order to earn Khan Ariel Suvorov's attention and have Delta Galaxy officially recognized as a frontline combat force, Lincoln began importing a large number of BattleMechs into his forces. This successfully improved Delta Galaxy's ability to react to threats and it was considered likely that Lincoln's troops could see offensive deployments if their new tactical doctrine did not negate their capabilities.[2] By 3067, Lincoln retained command of Delta Galaxy and was still stationed on Dagda.[4]

During the Wars of Reaving, Delta Galaxy struck against Brim in January 3072 only to find the expected Clan Snow Raven garrison force had been replaced by a contingent of The Society. A significant battle broke out when Lincoln refused to respond to the Society's batchall before errant shots caused the explosive detonation of several chemical tanks when the fighting spread into a nearby terraforming research facility. Having lost most of his warriors in the conflagration, an enraged Lincoln ordered the orbiting CGS Atropos to raze the Society enclave to the ground. In response to the atomization of two million civilians, the neighboring 178th Adder Sentinels issued a Trial of Reaving against Lincoln and he reacted by landing the First Eridani Lancers and Eighth Scorpion Grenadiers—all that remained of Delta Galaxy.[1]

Ultimately, neither the Star Adders or Goliath Scorpions enjoyed victory in the Trial, as two Clusters of Society forces from elsewhere on Brim arrived soon after the 178th Sentinels crushed the last of Lincoln's troops. Although the weaker Society units suffered disproportionate losses in the final clash, their ambush was enough to wipe out the battle-weary 178th Sentinels and the surviving Scorpion warriors they had taken as bondsmen.[1]
