History
In 2938, the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces were making minor advances on Fletcher. Leesa Dobbins was piloting her Phoenix Hawk LAM in aerospace mode and signaled that her fighter was out of fuel and near the approaching CCAF DropShips. CCAF aerospace pilots took her in tow and claimed the right of surrender, but Dobbins had fooled them all. She converted to BattleMech mode and attacked the DropShip's engine. The CCAF tried to down her, but they tore up more of the DropShip than the LAM. She was the first MechWarrior attributed with taking out a DropShip singlehandedly.[1]
