Kyree Anansi was a notable mercenary officer during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History
Captain Anansi's origins were purposefully unclear. She appeared in the Free Worlds League at the helm of a new BattleMech and set about hiring herself out for mercenary contracts while hiring enough support troops of her own to form temporary companies. In fact, Anansi's name was believed to be a nom de guerre meant to reference an ancient Terran trickster god. In combat, this was demonstrated by Anansi's predilection for ambushes and misdirection. Alternatively, Anansi's name may also have stemmed from her love of storytelling, which she used to further obfuscate any inkling of her actual background.[1]
BattleMechs
Captain Kyree Anansi piloted a brand-new Stalker BattleMech which she brought with her into Free Worlds League space.[1]
