Kreig was a notable ProtoMech pilot in the Clan Coyote Touman during the Jihad Era.[1]
History
Point Commander Kreig was still in sibko training when his group of cadets was transferred to Clan Coyote's ProtoMech program a year before their graduation. While most ProtoMech pilots were washouts from aerospace operations, it was the Coyotes' intention to train as many new pilots as possible while ProtoMech technology was reaching its maturity, leading them to take Kreig and his comrades for the training program. Kreig's knowledge of both aerospace and ground-based tactics enabled him to earn the rank of Point Commander by 3072 and his victory in a Trial against Clan Snow Raven established his status as a ristar. With his five ProtoMechs and two supporting Donar VTOLs, Kreig was able to defeat two Points of Elementals and an enemy BattleMech.[1]
