Kelson Sorenson was one of the founding Paladins of the Republic of the Sphere.

Kelson Sorenson was one of the original seventeen Paladins of the Republic.[1]
He was wounded in action on Liao during the Capellan Crusades.[2]
When Gray Monday struck the Republic in 3132, Sorenson led a select group of Knights and diplomats to organize merchant, military and private JumpShips into the Solar Express, a makeshift courier system. Though this network wouldn't be formalized or stabilized until early 3134, Sorenson's efforts allowed for a small trickle of communications to resume in Republic space.[3] In 3135, he was controlling the infiltration process of ComStar by Alexi Holt, trying to locate Tucker Harwell.[4]
