Kar was a notable ProtoMech pilot in the Clan Blood Spirit Touman during the Jihad Era.[1]
History
Raised from birth for service as a ProtoMech pilot, Point Commander Kar proved to be naturally talented and recognized that ProtoMechs could be more than advanced Elementals or small-scale BattleMechs. Kar developed tactics to maneuver ProtoMechs into positions that BattleMechs could not reach and to roust battle armor troopers from positions they thought were secure. Several members of Clan Blood Spirit thought it possible for Kar to acquire his own Bloodname, with such an achievement potentially serving as an indicator of the success of the ProtoMech program for every one of the Clans.[1]
