When the Word of Blake learned of Hohiro's presence, the Opacus Venatori was deployed to capture the Combine noble. After careful maneuvers and then a four hour long battle, Hutchins' unit was unable to prevent the capture of his lord. Not long after this, the Combine resistance on Dieron collapsed.^[2]^[3]
