History
In 3024, Janine's father Duke Charles Toloy was killed in an industrial accident, leaving young Janine to assume control of Toloy Chemicals. Janine's cousin Delbert launched a claim to take control of the company.[1][2]
Delbert would end up winning the long and drawn-out legal challenge, in part citing Janine's inexperience and questionable side business practices.[1]
