Hyacinth Carius was a notable tank commander in the Fifth Capellan Defense Force during the Victoria War.[1]

History

Si-ben-bing Carius earned fame for his actions in the village of Strausberg, located outside of the city of Barns on Victoria. While leading his platoon of tank destroyers in an attempt to link up with the retreating Fifth Capellan Defense Force, Carius located an entire battalion of Sixth Syrtis Fusiliers tanks being refueled at a forward depot. Lacking in fuel but possessing plenty of munitions, Carius' platoon charged into the larger enemy force and used pinpoint accuracy to destroy half of the hostile battalion before quickly disengaging ahead of any Fusiliers response. After making it off-world, Carius was awarded with the Cluster of Conspicuous Heroism and, in a later ceremony, the Liao Sunburst of Gallantry. For the remainder of his career, Carius spent more time in front of media cameras than he did serving in his new position as an instructor.[1]

Combat Vehicle

Si-ben-bing Carius operated and commanded a unit of Predator tank destroyers during the Victoria War.[1]
