Captain Hubert Glass commanded an assault company in the Fifth Marik Militia as of 3039.[1][2]
History
Glass participated in the defense of Les Halles against a Capellan Confederation raid in 3039. While separated from his battalion with his company, he was surrounded by two companies of Liao Vindicators and Cataphracts. After listening to a long-wind demand for surrender, Glass opened his cockpit to make a rude gesture to the Liao commander, at which signal his unit attacked. So furious was the battle, that the Liao commander's 'Mech was disabled before he could fire on Glass' 'Mech as he reclosed his cockpit.
During the engagement, the entire Liao force was destroyed, for the loss of only five Marik 'Mechs.[1][2]
