Plot Summary
Lady Eve Kincaid, commander of a detachment of the Fifth Principes Guards protecting a supply depot from the attacking Second McCarron's Armored Cavalry, awakens at the helm of her fallen Mad Cat III Eve surrounded by devastation. The supply depot has been destroyed in a massive explosion that damaged both Republic and Capellan forces alike. Realizing there is nothing left to protect, she reluctantly orders her remaining forces to retreat.
