Major Hadubert Fernsby was a MechWarrior, who served in the Hanseatic Defense Force's Command Company Schmidt's Petraries, as of 3140.[2]
History
As of 3140 Fernsby was a member of the Schwere Kavallerielanze (i.e. Heavy Cavalry Lance), within Schmidt's Petraries, the Command Company of the Captain-Marshal of the Hanseatic Defense Force.[2]
A highly skilled MechWarrior, which had been exceptional since he was a young lieutenant, he was transferred from Regional Defense Force 2 to the Petraries, after his merits were recognized by Captain-Marshal Rudolf Schmidt. His time as commander of the Schwere Kavallerielanze represented his second tour with the Petraries.[1]

Fernsby was known to have piloted a MAD-3R Marauder BattleMech, which was considered ancient by the time it came into his possession, though it remained in perfect working order due to visit to a secret repair facility on Braunschweig.[2]
