Gurgenheim Entertainment was a producer of blockbuster Holovid films, in the period immediately prior to the Clan Invasion.[1]
Overview
Gurgenheim Entertainment produced Invaders from Beyond III, a holovid film premised on an invasion of the Inner Sphere by outside forces and co-starring actress Michelle Holister, in what was to be her break out role. The firm was however was quickly relegated to a historical footnote by the real life Clan Invasion in March 3050.[1]
Gurgenheim Entertainment did however play a small role in the Clan Invasion itself, with the government of the Free Rasalhague Republic blaming initial reports from the Periphery of the start of the Clan's conquest of the Inner Sphere in February 3050, on a hoax perpetrated by the Republic based Gurgenheim Entertainment to promote the soon to be released Invaders from Beyond III. Accordingly, while Invaders from Beyond II had been a blockbuster hit, its sequel did not achieve the same success.[2]
